President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has constituted new governing boards for four state-owned media entities, including the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), in line with constitutional provisions and the National Media Commission Act.
The other three media outlets receiving new boards are the New Times Corporation, Ghana News Agency, and Graphic Communications Group Limited.
The National Media Commission, in consultation with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has appointed new members to the governing boards of state-owned media organizations, in accordance with Article 168 of the Constitution and Section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).
