New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has promised to deliver a “brand-new” presidency, contrasting himself with his main opponent, John Dramani Mahama, whom he described as a “second-hand failed president.”
Addressing a rally at Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern region, Dr. Bawumia urged voters to choose between a “brand-new” leader with fresh ideas and a “second-hand” one with a failed track record.
He emphasized that a vote for him and his parliamentary candidate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, would bring a new era of leadership and progress to Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia stressed that electing him would ensure a strong commitment to transparency and accountability in government, promising to uphold the highest standards of integrity and responsibility in leadership.
“I am not yet a President, so if you vote for me, you will get a brand-new tear rubber president. But if you vote for John Dramani Mahama, you get a second-hand failed president.
Do you want a brand new or second-hand? If you want brand new, then vote for Bawumia and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
