The Ga Mashie Chiefs, under the authority of the Ga Traditional Council, have issued a stern statement condemning Blakk Rasta’s recent claims that Dr. Daniel McKorley, CEO of McDan Group of Companies, is paralyzed due to omens and curses invoked by the Chiefs of Ada.
The Chiefs describe the allegations as “gross misinformation” and “entirely unfounded.”
In a strongly worded statement, the Ga Mashie Chiefs demanded that Blakk Rasta retract his statement and issue an apology immediately. They warned that failure to comply would result in consequences per nature demands.
The statement, signed by Numo Kofi Okassa Diaka II, Wolomo of Ga Asere Traditional Area, Abese, and supported by other prominent leaders including Numo Abbey Okanfrane Wulomo of Ga Abbetse We, Numo Naa Koloo Wolomo of La, and Numo Dede of Dede We, Teshie, demanded an immediate retraction and public apology from Blakk Rasta.
“We, the leaders of the Gadangme land, are compelled to address the gross misinformation disseminated by Blakk Rasta to the public. His false claim that Dr. Daniel McKorley, Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies, is paralyzed due to omens and curses invoked by the Chiefs of Ada is entirely unfounded and unacceptable.
“We hereby demand that Blakk Rasta retract his statement and issue an apology with immediate effect. Failure to comply will result in him facing the consequences of his actions per nature demands,” part of the statement said.
The Chiefs emphasized that the allegations are unacceptable and aim to tarnish the reputation of Dr. McKorley and the Chiefs of Ada. They urged the public to disregard Blakk Rasta’s claims and respect the integrity of traditional leaders.
“Furthermore, we must correct the false assertion that the Chiefs engaged in jubilation, as this is entirely untrue. Blakk Rasta’s statements were motivated by his own self-interest and malicious intent, and we will not tolerate such misinformation,” the statement added.
This development comes after Blakk Rasta made a controversial statements circulating on social media, which sparked widespread outrage and condemnation.
The Ga Mashie Chiefs’ response underscores their commitment to protecting the truth and upholding the dignity of their people.
The Ga Mashie Chiefs reiterated their backing for Dr. McKorley, praising him as a highly esteemed CEO and a cherished community member.
Additionally, they alerted state security agencies to Blakk Rasta’s inflammatory comments, especially in light of the impending elections, and urged them to maintain peace and stability in the area.
