Hassan Ayariga, the presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC), unveiled his manifesto last Sunday night, outlining his vision for Ghana’s future and why he’s the best choice for the top spot in the December 7, 2024, elections.
Hassan Ayariga, the presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC), launched his manifesto at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Auditorium on Sunday night, September 22, 2024.
This milestone comes after the Electoral Commission (EC) cleared him and 12 other candidates to run in the 2024 presidential election last Friday.
With this launch, Ayariga becomes the latest candidate to unveil his vision for Ghana’s future. His manifesto, dubbed the “Nation’s Manifesto,” is built around the transformative mantra “Transforming Ghana and Restoring Hope.”
This manifesto embodies a vision for transformative change, aiming to revitalize Ghana and rekindle the sense of possibility among its citizens.
Hassan Ayariga, the All People’s Congress (APC) presidential candidate, claims the 24-hour economy initiative was conceived by his party, not the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The All People’s Congress (APC) claims to have introduced the 24-hour economy policy as far back as 2016, according to the party’s vice-presidential candidate, Samuel Worlanyo Mensah.
“The 24 Hour Economy was introduced by Hassan Ayariga in 2016 and 2024. It is not for the NDC. It is a stolen manifesto policy by the NDC,” he said.
The All People’s Congress (APC) slammed the government’s “Gold for Oil” program as a scam that benefits a select few at the nation’s expense.
According to the APC’s vice presidential candidate, this policy has only enriched middlemen, leaving the public to bear the brunt of high fuel prices without reaping any benefits from Ghana’s natural resources.
If elected in 2024, the APC vows to promptly scrap this initiative.
Hassan Ayariga, the presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC), made a bold promise during his manifesto launch, pledging to increase Ghana’s minimum salary to GH¢5,000 if he wins the 2024 elections.
This move aims to significantly improve the standard of living for Ghanaians, ensuring a decent income for the working population.
According to Hassan Ayariga anew bi-weekly salary system will replace the traditional monthly payment structure, and the minimum wage will significantly increase from GH¢18 to a range of GH¢150-GH¢300, recognizing that current salaries are woefully inadequate for meeting basic needs.
