A comprehensive educational platform, offering students unparalleled access to diverse learning materials and top-notch educational content, has officially been unveiled in Accra.
This innovative mobile app, equipped with offline access, personalized career guidance, AI-powered exam prep, and virtual mentoring, facilitates self-paced learning, bridging educational gaps and fostering inclusivity nationwide.
Minister of Communication and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, unveiled an exciting initiative at the Accra Digital Centre yesterday – the Ghana Knowledge and Skills Bank (GKSB) Portal.
This innovative platform aims to establish a comprehensive digital library, accessible to everyone, regardless of geographical or socio-economic boundaries.
“It will enable students achieve self-learning, problem-solving critical and creative thinking, digital and research competence, goal management, communication, investigation and media literacy”, she stated.
Digitalization is a game-changer for education, offering solutions to some of the sector’s most pressing challenges.
According to Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister of Communication and Digitalisation, it addresses limited access to quality resources and bridges the educational disparity between urban and rural areas.
This is achieved through various initiatives, including online learning platforms, digital libraries, and virtual
classrooms, which provide equal access to educational materials regardless of geographical location.
“By embracing digitalisation, we bridged these gaps and ensure that every student regardless of their background or location has access to world-class education”, she added.
Minister Ursula Owusu-Ekuful urged all Ghanaians to leverage the Ghana Knowledge and Skills Bank (GKSB) Portal, exploring its vast resources and capitalizing on its benefits.
