Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has achieved a remarkable feat at the 2024 Imo International Film Festival with his movie “A Country Called Ghana”. The film, which premiered in May 2024, won three prestigious awards, including Best Production Design and Best Make-Up Film.
Lead actor Ramsey Nouah delivered an outstanding performance, earning him the Best Actor award.
The movie received an impressive 10 nominations, with Lilwin being recognized for Best Supporting Actor.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Lilwin expressed his gratitude to the crew and supporters.
“I want to say a very big congratulations to each and everyone who played a role in this movie, from Weezy Empire, crew, cast, etc. Thank you to everyone that believed and supported this project. God bless you all.” He wrote.
The film’s success has also led to a nomination at the Nollywood Film Festival Germany, scheduled for August 3, 2024. With high ratings and recognition, “A Country Called Ghana” solidifies Lilwin’s position as a talented actor and filmmaker in the Ghanaian film industry.
