Winneba, August 24 – John Dramani Mahama, Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians to vote for change in the upcoming December 7, 2024, elections, urging them to end the “tyranny, cronyism, corruption, and hardship” inflicted by the incumbent administration.
Speaking at the NDC’s manifesto launch in Winneba, Mahama declared, “The time is up for this administration, the time is up for them to go.”
He criticized the government for decimating democracy, destroying livelihoods, and pushing millions below the poverty line.
Mahama emphasized, “Your vote on December 7th will end the tyranny, it will end the cronyism, it will end the corruption, it will end the hardship.”
He promised that an NDC government would restore trustworthiness and vision, saying, “We will save the way for the vision, experience, and trustworthiness that will restore Ghana to its former glory.”
Mahama described the incumbent administration as “the biggest political scam” since Ghana’s independence in 1957, urging them to start writing their “handing over notes.”
“We cannot fail Mother Ghana. Therefore, I urge you all to vote for change on December 7th, 2024. Let us rise up to reset our beloved nation.” He said.
The manifesto launch was attended by NDC supporters and members, who welcomed Mahama’s message with enthusiasm. The party is confident that its policies and vision will resonate with Ghanaians and lead to a victory in the upcoming elections.
