Western Region, Ghana – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) launched its manifesto for the upcoming elections in the Western Region, marking a significant milestone in the party’s campaign.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the party’s vice presidential candidate, delivered a keynote speech that highlighted the party’s achievements and vision for the future.
“The NPP has a record of delivery in 2016 and 2020. We delivered on our manifesto,” Dr. Prempeh stated, emphasizing the party’s commitment to fulfilling its promises.
He highlighted the party’s education initiatives, noting the expansion of access to quality education. “When you talk about free SHS and free TVET, you didn’t stop there.
From early childhood care and new nurseries, you developed, you made sure that in the era of it, every school gets a school laboratory and it is in progress.”
Dr. Prempeh commended President Akufo-Addo’s efforts, acknowledging his leadership and vision. “Mr. President, your work must be shown that you are a man of your words “osiadieyo”. Based upon the work that you have done, I’m sure Ghanaians are going to give us the mandate to continue from where we are.”
Dr. Prempeh urged party supporters to work towards winning the general election, emphasizing the importance of their collective effort. “We have a general election to win. It is possible. This is a call to duty.”
The manifesto launch was attended by party leaders, including the chairman and regional minister, and showcased the NPP’s policies and ideas for the upcoming elections.
