Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a stunning accusation against the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming that they are responsible for the murders of two prominent pastors in Ghana.
Speaking at a rally, Dr. Opoku Prempeh alleged that the NDC is behind the killings of Prophet Asare and Brother Amoako, two well-known pastors in the country.
“They are the people killing pastors, they killed two prominent pastors here in Ghana… one is called Prophet Asare and the other brother Amoako,” Dr. Opoku Prempeh claimed.
The NPP running mate went on to claim that the NDC’s alleged campaign of violence includes the killing of a chief priest named Nana Drobo, who had reportedly discovered a cure for HIV.
“They did not end there, they also killed chief priest called Nana Drobo, who found a cure for HIV,” Dr. Opoku Prempeh said.
In another stunning allegation, Dr. Opoku Prempeh accused the NDC of demolishing mosques in Zongo communities, warning residents that voting for the NDC would lead to the collapse of their places of worship.
“They are the people who demolished mosques. If you live in the Zongo and you vote for NDC, they demolished your mosque,” he claimed.
The NPP running mate’s allegations have sent shockwaves through the religious community and beyond, with many Ghanaians expressing outrage and demanding answers.
As the country gears up for the 2024 elections, the allegations have added a new layer of tension to the political landscape.
The Ghanaian public is left wondering what the truth behind the allegations is, and what the implications will be for the country’s fragile political stability.
One thing is certain – the 2024 elections are shaping up to be one of the most contentious and dramatic in Ghana’s history.
