In a heartwarming display of gratitude and commitment to his community, West Ham United midfielder Kudus Mohammed has made a significant donation to his boyhood club, Strong Tower FC, in Nima, Ghana.
This gesture marks the latest chapter in Kudus’ long-standing support for the club that nurtured his talent and helped launch his professional career.
The 24-year-old playmaker, who began his career at Strong Tower FC in his neighborhood of Nima, Ghana, before joining Right to Dream Academy in 2010, has consistently shown his support for the club.
Kudus, who has earned over 30 caps for the Ghana national team and has scored 11 goals, has established himself as a key player for both club and country.
He joined West Ham United in 2023 from Ajax, where he spent four seasons and made over 100 appearances, winning the Eredivisie title and the KNVB Cup.
This year’s donation was particularly impressive, with Kudus providing the club with a range of football items, including balls, jerseys, and gear, as well as food items from Kivo Products, for which he serves as brand ambassador.
The items were gratefully received by the club, led by Kudus’ first coach, Ayoba Joshua, who expressed their heartfelt thanks to the midfielder and wished him well for the upcoming season.
Kudus recently returned from West Ham’s preseason tour of the USA, where he scored in a 3-1 loss to Wolves.
He also played a key role in the Hammers’ Betway Cup win over Celta Vigo, helping the team secure a penalty shootout victory after a 2-2 draw.
West Ham United will begin their league campaign on August 17, hosting Aston Villa in their opening fixture.
